About Factory
Our mission is to create a world where software builds and improves itself.
We build the platform for self-improving software development, helping the world's largest enterprise engineering teams turn their organizations into autonomous software factories. Customers including Nvidia, Blackstone, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Palo Alto Networks, Adobe, and T-Mobile run Factory to ship code, review PRs, run tests, and deploy continuously - getting smarter with every cycle.
In 2026, we raised $200M at a $5B valuation, bringing our total funding to over $400M. We are backed by world-class investors and operators including Khosla Ventures, Sequoia, Blackstone, Ali Ghodsi (CEO of Databricks), and Frank Slootman (Former CEO of Snowflake).
About the Role
Factory is looking for a Member of Deployed Staff, Applied AI to help our most strategic customers adopt agent-native software development. You'll own the post-sales customer journey, learn how each organization builds and ships software, and turn its goals into a deployment plan with measurable outcomes.
You'll combine technical fluency with a product manager's approach, working with customer engineers and executives to identify where Factory can make the biggest difference. Your focus will be on getting customers live, building sustained adoption, and helping their engineering teams work more effectively.
You'll also help shape how Factory deploys at scale by developing repeatable playbooks and bringing customer insights into the product roadmap.
What You'll Do
Own the technical relationship and post-sales outcomes for your accounts, partnering with the Account Executive and Solutions Engineer who led the sales process.
Understand each customer's software development lifecycle, identify priority use cases, and build a deployment plan tied to their goals.
Translate customer needs into clear product requirements, milestones, and measures of success.
Guide the initial rollout, then drive sustained adoption and growth in usage across engineering teams.
Work with executives and individual engineers to remove blockers and expand the use of Factory where it creates value.
Build repeatable playbooks, automate routine deployment work, and use adoption data to identify accounts that need support.
Partner with Factory's Product and Engineering teams to turn customer feedback into product improvements.
Spend time on-site with customers, typically about once a month and mostly within your region.
Qualifications
A track record of owning delivery end to end, turning open-ended problems into clear plans and measurable results.
A strong technical foundation in the software development lifecycle and systems design, with an understanding of how enterprise engineering teams build and ship software.
A product manager's mindset: organized, analytical, and able to align engineers and stakeholders around priorities and follow through on delivery.
Sound product judgment and empathy for users, with the ability to build credibility with customer engineers and Factory's Product and Engineering teams.
Relevant backgrounds include technical product management, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or engineering, paired with a strong interest in working directly with customers.
Comfort working through ambiguity, adapting as priorities evolve, and helping build a growing customer-facing function.
Experience in a high-growth startup or deep knowledge of an industry such as financial services or healthcare is a plus.
Experience with agent harnesses, model post-training and evaluations, migrations (for ERPs, data, cloud, or legacy code), security, iOS or Android development, on-premises deployments, or federal and public-sector deployments is a plus. We welcome both specialists and technical generalists.
This is an in-office role, five days per week, based in San Francisco, New York, London, Washington, DC, Australia, or Singapore.
